Abreu and Choung in September - both relocated to Watertown after completing their fellowship programs. Dr. Abreu is fellowship trained in adult reconstruction, he trained at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Choung completed his fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, Manhattan, NY. AFTER 34 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE NORTH COUNTRY,
Dr. Peckham began practicing orthopaedics in Watertown during the summer of 1977. Physicians and staff recognized Dr. Peckham's work at a luncheon in late September. "The most rewarding part of my career has been the opportunities I've had to interact with patients," stated Dr. Peckham. "The people are what matters."
DR. DAVID O. VANEENENAAM RETIRED FROM NCOG AFTER 43 YEARS Staff and physicians wished Dr. VanEenenaam well and presented him with a variety of gifts during a recent retirement celebration. Dr. VanEenenaam began practicing orthopaedics in Watertown during the summer of 1968. Pictured above are Dr. Van Eenenaam and his son Dr. Peter VanEenenaam, current president of NCOG. PHYSICIANS AND STAFF CELEBRATE NATIONAL DOCTORS' DAY On Wednesday, March 30th, 2011, physicians and staff at NCOG joined the national celebration of Doctors' Day. Staff and physicians enjoyed cake and fruit in celebration - several employees stopped in to thank providers for making NCOG a great place to work.

NCOG CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE NORTH COUNTRY COMMUNITY On Friday, December 4, 2009 employees and physicians celebrated North Country Orthopaedic Group's 50th year of service to the North Country community. Dr. David Van Eenenaam recognized Walker Heap, MD as founder of North Country Orthopaedic Group. Dr. Heap began providing orthopaedic services to the area during the summer of 1959.The physicians and staff presented Dr. Heap with a Michael Ringer print.
